Rejoice in the Winter!

Rejoice in the winter,

Her sparkling crisp air.

The light feathery snowfall,

Reminds us she’s here.

Rejoice in the winter,

Her long frigid nights.

Hot cocoa and wool blankets,

Become common sights.

Rejoice in the winter,

Her ice on the pond.

Sharpen the old ice skates,

And glide right along.

Rejoice in the winter,

Her sun low in the sky.

Snuggling close to a loved one,

Make the hours fly by.
