Yesterday was the first day of Spring or the Spring equinox.  Yesterday the day was split equally between 12 hours of sunlight and 12 hours of darkness.  So today our weather in SoCal is cool and overcast.  Go figure.

Mr. President has game!!

Happy birthday to Bruce Willis who turns 59 years old today.

We had a great time in Phoenix last weekend. Saturday night we went to a Phoenix Coyotes hockey game. The Coyotes won the game.

Sunday afternoon we went to the Dodger game.  We sat on this bench for quite awhile people watching.

This was the view from our seats.  About an hour and a half into the game our seats were in the shade which made it real nice.

While we were sitting on the benches people watching, Yasiel Puig rode by on a bicycle headed for the locker room which is the building behind him.  Right after I snapped this shot he blew the fans a kiss.  He's just a big kid at heart.

The wind from the previous day had stopped on Sunday and it was a beautiful day for a ball game. The game ended in a 3-3 tie.  Puig made the play of the game, throwing a base runner out at the plate, only to have it overturned by the new video replay rule going into effect in the majors this year.  It was a great throw none the less- on a line-no bounce- to the plate.

Next week is spring break for Karen and Corey's school district.  Karen and I will be off to Phoenix to take in a Phoenix Coyotes hockey game on Saturday evening, a Dodger's baseball game on Sunday afternoon, and an Angel's baseball game on Monday.  We're gonna check out the Wild Horse Pass Casino while we're there. Looks like it will be in the high 80's all weekend.
