I guess it's back to work tomorrow.  (Tuesday)  I've been out for a week fighting a heck of a cold.  I was getting up at 9:00 am and then taking a 3-hour nap around noon.  I hate being sick!

 

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is our current thought of where to retire to.  A condo on the beach, warm tropical weather.  It even has a minor league baseball team. Perhaps we'll make a visit next summer, as its only a long days drive from Brian's house in Huntsville. 

Miss America 2015 is Kira Kazanstev, the former Miss New York. She was born in Walnut Creek, California, but attends school in New York. She plans to attend law school next.

Diana Taurasi (Don Lugo HS) lead the Phoenix Mercury to the WNBA Championship last night with an 87-82 win over the Chicago Sky.  Diana hit the go-ahead jumper and ensuing free throw to put the Mercury ahead for good. Diana finished the game with 24 points and 5 assists to go with Candice Dupree's 24 points. The Mercury were playing without their all-star center Britney Griner who was out with an eye injury from game two of the series.  Diana was voted the WNBA Finals MVP. 

Colony HS beat Carter HS 46-27 last night.
