It's a standing joke in my family that when we see a "bouncy bouncy"  house in the neighborhood I ask Karen to stop so that I can go play on it.  Karen tells me no, that I would just get in trouble.  So this morning the neighbors put up this bounce castle  in their back yard.  I asked the three youngsters who live next door if I could come over and play in their castle.  Brooklyn - aged 3 or 4, told me, "No.  You're too big."  Cruel I tell you!!

The NFL has apologized and said Abdullah was penalized for sliding, not the prayer.  I don't ever remember Tim Tebow being penalized for "Tebowing."

I like this, especially the bottom two.  They are willing to fail, and they are celebrate other people's success.

chelsea had her baby, a girl Charlotte Clinton, yesterday. I didn't take long for the media to attack her.

Happy Birthday to singer, song writer, actress, Olivia Newton-John who turns 66 years young today. Olivia was born in Cambridge, UK, and now lives in Malibu, Ca. with her husband, director and screen writer John Easterling, and Oliva's daughter Chloe, who is an actress and singer in her own right.

Olivia is a four-time Grammy Award winner who had five #1 singles and ten singles in the top ten. Olivia's career really took off when she starred in "Grease" with John Travolta in 1978.

Olivia will be opening at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas this year and plans to release a new album as well.

 

Happy birthday to "Potsie" from "Happy Days" who turns 65 today.

This is a great photo of former President Bill Clinton and his daughter Chelsea. Chelsea 34,  is due to have her first child any day now.

Happy birthday to Catherine Zeta-Jones who turned 45 years young yesterday.Catherine was born in Wales and now lives in New York City. Catherine has been in the news recently because of her battle with bipolar disease and a short separation from Michael Douglas.

Catherine won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as "Velma Kelly" in the 2002 movie adaptation of "Chicago."  Catherine also won a Tony Award for her role as "Desiree Armfieldt" on Broadway in the musical "A Little Light Music" in 2009.

Catherine starred in "The Mask of Zorro" one of my favorites, along with "Entrapment" with Antonio Banderos and Anthony Hopkins in 1998.

Catherine is married to actor Michael Douglas and they have two children, son Dylan who is 14, and daughter Carys, who is 11.  Catherine and Michael share the same birth date, Michael turned 70.
