Quick road trip up to Eugene, Oregon, for the funeral of my brother Stephan Dempsey. The Cottage Grove Police Department, where Steve worked as a dispatcher, did a great job with their assistance in the funeral.

The Dodgers lost two of three to the dreaded Yankees over the weekend. They were completely outplayed, out homered, outhusseled, and overall just beat up by the Yankees.  The Dodgers won't win the World Series this year either.

Happy Birthday to Amy Lou Adams who turned 45 on August 20th. Ms. Adams is married to actor Darren Le Gallo and they have one daughter
