Recent Wisconsin protest sign against Governor Walker with a little thought put into it.
While this is a cute photo, as you can imagine, I have to disagree with it's message. I 've started re-reading "god is not Great" BY Christopher Hitchens again. I recommend it.
I see that the United States has found another sand box to play war in. I think assisting Libya with it's fight for liberty is a good idea, and we are not doing it alone. Gidaffi is promising a long fight. Let's hope not.

Today is the first day of Spring. According to the "The Old Farmers Almanac", "at the start of Spring - the vernal equinox - day and night are each approximately 12 hours long in the Northern Hemisphere. The Sun crosses the celestrial equator going northward; it rises exactly due east and sets exactly due west."

It started to sprinkle here in Ontario at about 10:00 am Sunday. Supposed to be a big storm. So we're on "Storm Watch" here in SoCal.

I miss my nude beach trips.
Happy Birthday wishes go out to one of my faves, Dana Delany, who turns 55 years old today. Dana Welles Delany was born in New York City. She has a bachelors degree in theater arts from Wesleyan University. She has never been married and has no children.

Dana started her acting career in New York on Broadway and in soaps. Her first big role on television was in the series "China Beach." Dana won two Emmy Awards for her performance as nurse Colleen McMurphy.

Dana was in one of my all time favorite movies, "Tombstone," with Kurt Russel, where she played Josephine Marcus. She also played dominatrix in the movie "Exit to Eden" with Rosie O'Donnell and Dan Aykroyd.

More recently, Dana has appeared in "Desperate Housewives" and is starting a new series where she plays a medical examiner entitled "Body of Proof."

Perhaps I need to update my wardrobe!!!
Spent a good portion of the day glued to the television watching the news coverage of the 8.9 earthquake and subsequent tsunami in Japan. I also watched some really cool coverage on channel 5 this morning watching the tsunami hit the Southern Californian coast.
