Rode my bike to the beach from Anaheim Stadium on Sunday.  18 miles in all. It was cool and a quite windy the closer I got to the beach.  I'll be glad when the warmer weather gets here.

Karen and I went to a Rancho Cucamonga Quakes baseball game on Saturday evening.  There was lot of action and Quakes eventually won the game 8-7.  Afterwards we got to see fireworks, which is always a good thing.

Happy birthday wishes go out to Mary Lucy Denise "Marilu" Henner who turns 61 years old today. Henner is an American actress, producer and author probably best known for her role as Elaine O'Conner Nardo on the sitcom "Taxi" from 1978 to 1983.

Henner is on her third marriage and has two children and three step children. Henner has written nine books on health, diet and memory and is said to have an audiobiographical memory and can remember specific details of her everyday life since she was a small child.

I wonder if law makers have asked the average teacher or school administrator what they think about being armed and turning schools into armed camps.  There's a lot of liability that I would bet school districts won't want to take on.  If it's anything like the same-sex marriage debate, it would appear that law makers don't care a whole lot about what the majority of Americans think.  They vote based on their own beliefs or those of their political backers.  ($$$$$)

Happy birthday wishes go out to my son Brian who turns 37 years old today.  This time next month we will be out in Huntsville, Alabama, to visit Brian and his family and celebrate his graduation from the University of Alabama in Huntsville with a BA degree in business administration.

I have to agree.  I like hot dogs.  I like hot dogs with mustard and relish, like Dodger dogs or most any stadium hot dog.  I like hot dogs from Tommy's with mustard, dill pickles, and chili.  I like hot dogs from Der Weinerschnitzel with mustard and sauerkraut.  You know who else has good hot dogs?  Five Guys. They split their hot dogs and grill them.  Add some mustard and pickles.  Mmm Mmm!!!
