My neighbor Ray's tractor all tricked out. 

I'm posting tonight from my sister's house in Ferndale, Washington.  Ferndale is located about 25 miles south of the Canadian border in Norhern Washington State.  Went for a bike ride around Paddon Lake on Saturday and I will post a few photos when I can get back on my laptop Monday evening at my brother-in-law and siser-in-laws house.

Made it to Sacramento Tuesday evening about 4:30 pm. The drive was pretty uneventful.  Stopped in and paid my respects to the police memorial outside the state capital. Went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack at Old Town Sacramento.

Got up at 6:15 am on Wednesday and got out early (for me) for a bike ride along the American River.  I picked up the bike path near the train museum at Old Town Sacramento and rode 16 miles north/east along the river.

The bike path is real nice.  It has lots of signs, bathrooms, and goes thru 3 parks that I saw.  It ends at Folsom Dam, about 22 miles from Old Sac.  I didn't make it that far.

Lots of bikers, runners, and walkers of all ages and sizes.
