Patricia started her acting career in New York City on Broadway in the chorus for "Don't Get God Started". Patricia was nominated for a Lucille Lortel Award for "Outstanding Lead Actress" for her performance on Broadway in "The Scene".
Patricia is probably best known for her role as "Debra Barone" in the television series "Everybody Loves Raymond" with comedian "Ray Romano". Patricia was on the series from 1996 to 2005 and won two "Emmy" awards, two "Viewers For Quality Television" awards, and one "Screen Actors Guild" award for her work.
Patricia has been married to British actor David Hunt since 1990 and they have four sons. The divide their time between homes in Los Angeles, Ca. and England where they own a country estate.

I think Patricia Heaton is a terrific actress and she did a bang-up job on "Everyone Loves Raymond."
She is no doubt a nice person, too.
But there is just this one teeny little thing: she's an anti-abortionist with strong convictions and is very much anti Roe v. Wade.
Somewhere I think I read that may be because she is a Roman Catholic.
Not that any of that takes away from her acting ability...but I couldn't help feel a little "aargh" when I first learned of her anti-abortion activities.
