My father is in the hospital in Bellingham, Washington, and things don't sound too good. He apparently has a BP of 74/40 and is fighting pneumonia.

Apparently he went into the hospital with stomach cramps and it was discovered he had a clog in his pipes. I won't go into the details. He has refused to do an upper GI scope and the doctors told my sister even if they found something they wouldn't operate on him because of his age and frail condition. If/when he is able to leave the hospital he will be moved to a nursing home so he can be more closely monitored.

So I'm flying up to see him on Monday. I'll be back on Thursday.
