Over the weekend I attended the retirement dinner for Randy Schinlee and Jim Short. I was Randy's first training officer at Covina PD and I worked several crews with Jim Short. WCPD was well representited with Chief Holmes and his wife, the Fernalds and Hausers, and Roger Beatty in attendance.


Jim and Randy received hand made rocking chairs from their association.

They also received really nice shadow boxes with their badges, patches, a gun, and other paraphernalia.


Randy has sold his house in Mammoth Lakes and is moving to a condo in Palm Springs.

Jim is staying in the Mammoth Lakes area so his son can finish high school there.
