I went to the fund raiser for Mike Newton today at the West Covina Senior Citizens Center. I saw a lot of ex-coworkers and a few friends. Pictured above are Donna Morris, Don Fernald, Kevin Bogart, and Mike. The old guy in the back with the beard is ex-chief John Distelrath. I didn't recognize the chief until I heard his voice. When I heard it I immediately suffered a violent rectal inversion!!!

Two of the main organizers of the event were Donna Morris (left) and Jill Ehlers (right). Laura Pillar was also in attendance.

Entertainment was provided by the Copper Canyon Band. Fixin's for tacos and burritos were also provided. The turn out seemed pretty good as all the tables were filled.
