Arizona State Senator Ron Gould pulled his bill to deny U.S. citizenship to children of undocumented immigrants because of lack of support from other senators. The biggest influence may have been from state businessmen who testified before the Arizona Senate about the loss of tourist business in the state and businesses not coming to the state because of Arizona's stand on illegal immigration.
