As a follow-up to my blog the other day about the new Alabama immigration law, and the involvement of Alabama Senator Scott Beason, I found that Alabama now has lines named after him.  "Beason lines" are lines that Alabamians have to stand in to register their vehicles now, rather than do it on-line, because the new immigration law requires Alabamians produce proof of citizenship to register their cars.

It would seem that rather than aid Alabama's underfunded schools, thousands of student with drawls threaten to reduce funding.  Rather than reserve jobs for Alabamians, the law is putting businesses out of business and may be holding back tornado recovery.  Churches are seeing a drop in parishioners.

But Sen. Beason saws the law is doing what it is intended to do, "attack every aspect of an illegal aliens life and make it difficult fr them to live in Alabama and deport themselves."

Wasp fear!!!
