A Table for Two
A table for
two, sun setting in the west,
Warm gentle
breezes, and you as my guest.
I’ll greet
you with a smile, and pull back your chair,
I’ll gaze at
you warmly, gentle wind in your hair.
I’ll pour
you some wine, and hand you your glass,
We’ll sit
quietly by; the moments slip past.
Another
glass of bubbly, to help set the mood,
To ignite
our anticipation, a subtle prelude.
My chair
next to yours, we’ll sit hand in hand,
The sun on
our faces, our feet in the sand.
I’ll lean
next to you, my hand in your hair,
We’ll share
a brief kiss, right then and right there.
A warm balmy
evening, romance in the air,
A couple of
lovers, with nary a care.
I’ll pledge
you my love, till my dying day,
At a table
for two, on a beach far away.
