Two as One
We’re not the same it’s
plain to see,
We’re not at all
alike.
She can run for miles
and miles,
For me: I’ll ride my
bike.
A Frappuccino hits
the spot,
Our lunch-time treat du
jour.
I vote for mocha every
time,
Green teas a must for
her.
Great oldies music is
my thing,
The 60’s please my
ear.
She’ll play country
all day long,
A “Flatts Head” to be
sure.
But joined as one we
can’t be beat,
Like a hot dog in a
bun.
It’s simple math for all to see,
Together we’re two as
one.
