Rode to the beach yesterday from the Orange Co. Sheriff's academy.  I battled a 25-30 mph headwind the whole way and encountered rain about a mile from the beach.  After seeking shelter in the first bathroom on the beach, the rain stopped and I battled the last 2.5 miles up the beach to Karen at about 7 mph.  A brutal ride to say the least.  Oh and not only was she not on the beach, there were very few people at all on the beach.  LOL
