Corona Blues
Wear a mask
and guard your space,
Leave the store
without a trace.
Bars and
diners out of bounds,
Its even
scarier than it sounds.
Can’t go to
your hair salon,
Buy a hat
and put it on.
Can’t go to
a game or show,
Or anywhere
else you want to go.
A killer bug
is on the prowl,
A silent menace:
oh so foul.
Stay at home,
don’t dare go out,
The bug will
add you to its count.
The Feds don’t
seem to have a clue,
They have no
plan on what to do.
Half the country won’t wear a mask,
Though it seems to me a simple task.
Deaths are mounting day by day,
Where it stops, no one can say.
For me I chose to stay at home,
And maybe write a silly poem.
