Red solo cup, I fill you up
Let's have a party, let's have a party.
I love you red solo cup, I lift you up
Let's have a party, proceed to party.

This makes me laugh because I've seen people at Starbucks order coffee and go through some of the most bizarre descriptions of their coffee request.

This is a great photo

President Obama is now under attack for shaking hands with Cuban President Raul Castro at the memorial service for Nelson Mandela.  Sometimes a simple handshake can lead to bigger and better thinks in the future.

Put on your head phones and listen to this great rendition of the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah by the Gay Men's Chorus from South Florida.  I've had the opportunity to sing this in large choirs several times and it gave me goose bumps then and gives me goose bumps today just to listen to it.

Apology Accepted

Ahead of the Kansas City Chiefs complete domination of Washington’s football team Sunday, a Kansas City restaurant owner used a storefront sign to urge the Chiefs to victory in the most racist of ways. The sign, outside a Sonic chain, promised that the Chiefs would “scalp the Redskins, feed them whiskey,” and “send 2 reservation.”
Sonic’s corporate office apologized Sunday. “The remarks posted on this message board were wrong, offensive and unacceptable,” Patrick Lenow, vice president of public relations at Sonic, said in a statement to NBC News. “In a misguided effort to support his football team an independent franchise owner allowed passion to override good judgment. The owner has reinforced with his employees the boundaries of what is acceptable and unacceptable. On behalf of the franchise owner and our entire brand we apologize for the offensive remarks.”

Take a few minutes to enjoy the USAF band playing and singing "Joy to the World."

Philadelphia Eagles vs Detroit Lions in the snow. 6" of snow in the ground and more falling.  Fun to watch on TV.  Wouldn't want to be in the stands or on the field.  Amazingly, many of the players are playing will bare arms.  Brrr!!!

Too many beers???

Ah the old eight track tape deck!!  I knew a guy when I was a kid who had a record player installed under his dash.  You slid the record in like you would a CD.  The only problem was it skipped when you hit a bump.  He was the same guy, who shall remain nameless, who had stolen speakers from the drive-in movie hooked to his car radio in the back window.  LOL

That would be me when no one is home.  LOL

Karen had the entire week off for Thanksgiving, and it was a busy week. I worked Monday and had court in Pomona. Once again I just sat around while they sentenced the defendant to 7 years in prison.

Tuesday Karen, Corey, and I went to lunch at Northwoods Inn and had red and green salad and cheese bread. Mmmm!!! Josh was at work.

Wednesday I got in a bike ride along the Santa Ana River in Riverside. It was a nice day for a ride. Wednesday night Karen and I went to a Reign hockey game. They won in a 7 shot shoot out.

Thursday Karen made turkey and all the fixins for dinner. Josh brought his friend Justin over who wasn't able to get a turkey dinner before going to work otherwise.

Friday Corey, Karen, and I put up the outside Xmas lights in between a few rain drops.

Saturday Karen and Corey put up the Xmas tree and the inside decorations and Saturday night Karen and I went to a Reign hockey game.

Sunday I went for a bike ride from Yorba Linda to Huntington Beach and met Karen. Once again, it was a really nice morning for a bike ride. I attached a big red bow on the back of my bike for the holiday season. (sorry Jack) Sunday afternoon Karen and I went to our third Reign hockey game. We topped off the weekend with the four of us getting together for dinner at Vince's Spaghetti House.

What a week!!!
Lots of water in the river Sunday

Thanks to Josh we were able to go to three Ontario Reign hockey games last week. We went on Wednesday night, Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon were free. The Reign won all three games. We had a great time at all three games.
