Professor Scott Senjo was a professor of criminal justice at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. Twitter published the man's bosses info and suggested his boss be made aware of his posts.  Professor Senjo was subsequently fired from his teaching position after push back from Weber students.

By the way, this kind of thinking from those involved in law enforcement does not surprise me in the least.  Law enforcement, like its military brethren, have to de-humanize those they oppose in order to kill them.  Its common for cops to think of those they police as less than them and give them names like "towel heads" or "porch monkeys."

Happy birthday to former Russian tennis player and model Anna Sergeyevna Kournikova who turns 39 years young today.

Body paint!!!

And kill over it I might add.

The officers who resigned from their positions on their swat team did so under threat from their union who promised to withdraw their legal support for the officers if they didn't resign.

The “ruling elite” are becoming nervous as their knee on the neck of “the people” is beginning to slip.  The police, the enforcement arm of the “ruling elite,” are becoming more and more brutal in their effort to stem the tide against their masters.  The head of the “ruling elite,” President Trump, has come out and threatened the use of Federal troops to quell the uprising against him and his “ruling elite” buddies.  He offers no empathy for George Floyd or tries to offer a calming voice to the nation because “the people” are only seen as a necessity for the life of capitalism.  The “ruling elite” only need “the people” to go to work to make their products and buy their products, so they can buy another yacht.

This protest is not just about the shameful death of George Floyd, but a protest by “the people” against a system titled against them and their uphill fight for equality. It’s a fight against bosses paying minimum wage and hiring part time so people can’t get medical benefits. It’s about the taking away of unemployment if they refuse to go back to work while still in the midst of a pandemic. It’s about voter suppression. It’s about the taking away of food stamps and school meals.  It’s about the closing of Planned Parenthood clinics all across the nation depriving women of much needed medical attention. It’s about landlords quick to raise rents or evict even when they won’t lift a hand to repair the problems. It’s about the busting of unions who are fighting for workers benefits. The list goes on and on.

So yes, lets have a conversation about police brutality.  Lets discuss “blue lives matter”, and the culture within many police departments which puts cops in the “us vs. them” mind set.  But lets not let this one symptom of the disease of inequality be the only conversation.  If this is going to be a time of great change, lets not limit the scope of the conversation but look at the many, and complex, issues involved.  Lets think outside the box for answers to decades old problems.

We “the people”, are uprising against the system and its time for change.

Tonight tRUMP ordered peaceful protesters out of Lafayette Park 20 minutes before the curfew went into effect.  Using rubber bullets, tear gas, and officers on horseback, protesters were moved out of the park and down the street.  tRUMP then walked out the front door of the White House and across the park to the St. John's Church for an photo op. tRUMP raised a Bible but didn't offer to read scripture or offer a prayer.

Prior to leaving the White House, tRUMP gave a short press release promising to use American troops to help weak states control their protesters.

Yes. Really!!!

Protesters stopped traffic on the I/10 freeway overpass of Barranca Ave. in West Covina.

Sunday turned from peaceful protest to anarchy with thieves openly looting from businesses in Santa Monica, Long Beach, San Bernardino and San Diego.

tRUMP came out telling mayors and governors they were weak instead of trying to calm the nation and work for change.  He doesn't want change.
