Pinchos for dinner!!!

Tonight we went to Peggy and Jerry's for pinchos. As you can see from the photo, Peggy and Jerry's is nothing more that a sidewalk cafe. It only serves pinchos and drinks. Pinchos are basically shishcabobs made of pork, chicken, or shrimp served on a wood skewer. They are covered with one of three types of bar-b-Que sauce, mild, hot, and burn your lips off. They are also served with a couple of pieces of sourdough bread. I got the pork with the burn your lips off sauce. Very Tasty!!! The little cafe has about six tables in all and is busy most of the time. I'm sure I'm going to pay for these later tonight.

Then we went to a local resort called El Conquistador. It has a casino and lots of shops, including a Starbucks!! So I played a penny machine for about 30 minutes on a twenty dollar bill and walked away with $20.04. I also got to indulge in a mocha frappacino. Doesn't' get any better than that!!
