The UCLA men's basketball team lost to the Memphis Tigers 78 to 63 in the semi-finals of the NCAA tournament. The Tigers run and gun offense was too much for the Bruins. Kevin Love was held to 12 points and Darren Collison fouled out of the game with two points. This was UCLA's third straight trip to the "final four", each time coming away empty handed. UCLA ended their season with a record of 34 wins and 4 loses. The only positive that may come of this is that Kevin Love may stay at UCLA another year to try to win a NCAA title rather than turn pro after one year at UCLA.
