Presentation to the national meeting will focus on productivity

LOS ANGELES – Scott Ferguson, LCSW, manager of Clinical Social Work and Diversity Services at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles, has been invited to present his abstract at the national meeting of the Society for Social Work Leadership in Health Care in Cleveland, Ohio, Oct. 5-7, 2008.

The presentation will be entitled, “The Development of a Social Work Productivity Measurement Tool at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.”

“Creating a process for the successful capture of social work productivity data has been a priority for social work leaders at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles for the past eight years,” said Mr. Ferguson. “While creating a culture of accountability for one’s time and work is never easy, it also has been challenging to continually refine our measurement tool so that it produces relevant information and remains user-friendly."

Congratulations Scott. I am very proud of you!!

Love,
Dad
