It's football season again!!! We attended the first pre-season game for Colony H.S.on Friday. It was over 100 degrees during the day so we were in shorts and short sleeve shirts for the game. They are still getting the bugs out at the H.S. as there was no American flag for the Star Spangled Banner and no announcement before the band starting playing. It was an omen we found out later.

Turns out the cheer leaders were also getting the bugs out as they almost didn't get their banner up in time for the players to run through.

As you can see, the game got underway. We scored the first touch down. As it turns out, that was our only score. We ended up losing 20-7. The beating was actually worse than the score would indicate, but we were saved by a couple of major penalties. It was a fun evening, all in all.
