Took my bike for its first ride to the beach last Sunday.  It was just a few days after a week of rainl and snow in the mountains.  You can see the Santa Ana river bed is busy.

A storm last week left lots of snow on the mountains and it snowed as low as Rancho Cucamonga and the Norco mountains.

It was a good ride.  The odometer is now set for the bigger tires on the new bike and showed a trip to the beach as 20 miles instead of 21.  Its almost right on with the mile markings on the bike path. The chain came off my bike when I got to the beach.  I had to take it in to have the derailer adjusted the next day.
