Happy Birthday wishes go out to Victoria Principal who turns 59 years old today. Victoria Principal was born in Fukuoka, Japan, but moved around the world as a military brat, living is London, Puerto Rico, Florida, Georgia, and Massachusetts. Victoria attended 17 different schools while growing up.

Victoria acted in her first commercial at the tender age of 5 and began modeling professionally in high school. She attended the Miami-Dade Community College planning to study medicine. She won the "Miss Miami" title in 1969 and posed for "Playboy" in 1973.


Victoria dated numerous actors and personalities including Andy Gibb, Steven Spielberg, and Frank Sinatra. She was married to actor Christopher Skinner for two years and to plastic surgeon Dr. Harry Glassman for 21 years. She has no children.

Victoria is probably best know for her role as "Pamela Barnes Ewing" in the very popular night time soap "Dallas". Victoria starred on the soap for nine years earning a "Golden Globe" nomination for "Best Actress in a Television Series" in 1983.


Besides acting, Victoria had a short singing career with her then boyfriend, Andy Gibb. Victoria has a line of clothing and cosmetics, and self-help books including "The Body Principal", "The Diet Principal", and "The Beauty Principal".


Today Victoria is training to be the first female civilian astronaut on the Virgin Galactic Spaceship One. Her space flight is planned for June of 2010


Victoria lives primarily in Malibu, Ca., but has homes in Utah and Switzerland.
