I went for a bike ride on Friday from the Yorba Linda Regional Park to the Huntington Beach Pier. The ride was 26 miles in each direction. This was my longest bike ride ever.

There are several of these pedestrian bridges that allow one to cross the river. I found out there is not one at the Anaheim Stadium when I came to a dead end a half mile down the bike path. I had to double back to Orangewood Ave. and cross the freeway and continue, adding a mile to my ride.

I brought a lunch in a cooler bag and ate it at the base of the Huntington Beach Pier. Homemade tuna sandwich!! Doesn't get any better than that!!

It was a pretty day at the beach with a slight breeze and about 72 degrees. There was the usual folks to watch while I ate my lunch.
