According to Rachel Maddow of MSNBC there is a new slogan making it's way onto car bumpers and across the Internet which reads; "Pray for Obama: Psalm 109:8."

Nice sentiment?

Psalm 109:8 reads, "Let his days be few; and let another take his place of leadership."

If that isn't bad enough, the next verse, Psalm 109:10 reads, "Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow."

Now I know presidential criticism has been around since the office was instituted, but this seems to be calling for the actual violent overthrow or assassination of President Obama.


So that website led me to this website, www.UpYoursObama.com. This website has even move inflammatory bumper stickers.

I was a vocal opponent of President Bush, but I never spoke of a violent overthrow or assassination of the president. This is very scary to me.
