Today is day seven of "occupy Los Angeles" - day nineteen of "occupy wall street." I made a visit to city hall in downtown Los Angeles today (Sat) and spent about four hours amongst the protesters. It was a beautiful day on SoCal as you can see by the first photo below.

This is the stage area on the west steps of city hall.  At about 1:30 pm they started having speakers, musicians, and poets reading their work from the top of these steps.

There are tents on both sides of city hall.  On the east side there are several tents, including a medical tent and a welcome tent.  I gave a small donation to help feed those staying there over night.

I found myself a nice seat on a fountain directly in front of the stage and watched the folks parade by.  It was quite entertaining.  People with various signs and a wide array of dress.
