Happy Birthday wishes go out to Johnny Depp who turns 45 years old today. John Christopher Depp II was born in Owensboro, Ky. He currently lives in France with his girlfriend, French actress/singer Vanessa Paradis.
Johnny Depp recently won two MTV Movie awards. One for "Best Villian" for his role in the movie, "Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet St" and one for "Best Comedic Performance" in his role in the movie, "Pirates of the Caribbean - At World's End."
Johnny Depp may be best known for his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in two Pirates of the Caribbean movies. He was nominated for an Academy Award for The Curse of the Black Pearl.
Johnny Depp won a Golden Globe award for "Best Actor in a motion picture -comedy or musical" and was nominated for an Academy Award for "Best Actor" for his role in Sweeney Todd.
Johnny Depp has a star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
