She was discovered at a Rolling Stones concert and encouraged to model. At 16, Rene dropped out of school and moved to New York City to model for the Eileen Ford Agency. Rene is married to actor Dan Gilroy and has one daughter.



Rene made her debut in the movie "Major League" playing the girlfriend of Tom Berringer. She is probably best known for her role as "Detective Lorna Cole" in "Lethal Weapon 3" and "Lethal Weapon 4" with Mel Gibson.


Rene has also starred in "In the Line of Fire" with Clint Eastwood, "Outbreak" with Dustin Hoffman, "Tin Cup" with Kevin Costner, and "Get Shorty" with John Travolta.
