Happy Birthday wishes go out to Swedish model and actress Maud Adams who turns 64 years old today. Maud Solveig Christina Wikstrom was born in Lulea, Sweden. She is married to retired judge Charles Rubin and has no children.
Maud initially wanted to be an interpreter as she is fluent in five languages. In 1963 a photo of her was submitted to the Miss Sweden contest. She won the contest and went into modeling instead.
In the early 70's, Maud began acting in movies such as "The Boys in the Band" and on television on "Hawaii Five-O" and "Kojak". She gained instant fame as a "Bond Girl" in the movie "The Man with the Golden Gun" with Roger Moore.
She became a "Bond Girl" once again in 1985 as "Octopussy" in the movie with the same name.
Since her "Bond Girls" days, Maud has appeared in several movies including "The Seekers" and on television on "That 70's Show" and "Emerald Point NAS".
