I may be going back to work. I know, I know. It's shocking!!

Gov. Arnold keeps slashing the school budgets and because of that my lovely bride keeps getting her hours cut. Karen has to take three furlough days before the end of this fiscal year, which means an unpaid day off each of the next three months.

So coincidentally, my old friend Nicole left El Monte for a supervisor's position with Torrance. I spoke to a captain at El Monte and offered my services as a lab rat. No call outs or being a slave to the phone.

I have an appointment next Tuesday with that captain and the head honcho for El Monte. It would be a part time job, 2-3 days a week. We'll see what happens. I'll keep you posted.
