Paid Bruce Beckwith a visit at Foothill Presbyterian Hospital today. (Thurs) He's grumpy, which is always a good sign. The bed is uncomfortable, he's throwing up from his pain meds, and we won't even go into the catheter!!

He apparently went to urgent care over the weekend and was told he had a urine infection and given a prescription. When the pain got worse, he went to another doctor who found he had a perforated colon and surgery was necessary immediately.

He didn't know how long he would be in the hospital. He's on massive doses of antibiotics. Visits are encouraged.
