We made it home safely from our road trip to Prescott, Arizona. We learned that it is pronounced Presctt, no scott on the end. We had a wonderful time there. We arrived at the tail end of the storm that blew through here last week and missed the snow and rain. The high temps. were in the low 60's and the low temps were in the high 20's at night.
One afternoon we drove over to Sedona, Az. and checked it out. The photo to the left doesn't do justice to the red rock formations in the area.
Sunday evening we attended the banquet for Josh's competition which was at a local casino. So afterward we just had to throw around a few coins in the casino. I ended up winning $400 from a monopoly slot machine.
We drove a total of 1,031 miles over this trip. My cruiser handles real well in the mountains and is easy to drive on the freeway. We hit lots of traffic coming home on Monday with lots of toy haulers coming home from the three day weekend. All in all, it was a great trip.
