Karen and I went to the Colony H.S. football game on Friday night and Colony was able to hold on to beat Serrano 22-15. Colony H.S. scored a touchdown with one minute left in the game and then we had to hang on as Serrano drove deep into Colony territory. Two incomplete passes into the end zone sealed the win for Colony.
Colony ended the preseason with a 2-3 record, winning its last two games. Colony had a poor record in preseason games last year and then went undefeated and won the CIF Southern Section Championship. Lets hope it goes that way again.
As a side note, Richard Bell's son Jordon, is quite a star for the Colony Titans.
