Thursday afternoon I went to Las Vegas with my son Scott, We stayed at the Aria Hotel and Casino. I had an awesome room with floor to ceiling windows that took one entire wall. The drapes, lights and TV were all controlled by the big screen TV on the wall. We stayed 3 days/2 nights.

While there, we went to see 'Love at the Mirage" a Cirque Du Soleil production of Beatles music. It was awesome!! There was so much to see it was almost overwhelming.

It was a great weekend. We were able to catch up and esentially get re-aquainted. Thanks Scott.

Terrorist wins Miss USA Title!!

The right winguts are going crazy over the fact that Rima Fakih won this year's Miss USA competition. It seems that Miss Fakih is a Muslim and Lebanese. Miss Fakih hails from a "large Arab American community" in Dearborn, Michigan.

Conservative radio host Debbie Schlussel posted on her website, "It's a sad day in America but a very predictable one, given the politically correct, Islamo-pandering climate in which we're mired. The Hezbolah-supporting Shi'ite Muslim, terrorist and immigration fraud perpetrator, won the Miss USA contest." It appears that Miss Schlussel supported Miss Oklahoma, Elizabeth Woolard, who voiced her support for the Republic of Arizona's recent immigration law in one of her answers during the pageant.

Interestingly, Wikipedia describes Miss Schlussel as a blogger who often "targets the largely Muslim population of the Detroit suburb of Dearborn, which she refers to as "Dearbornistan."

Within hours of being crowed Miss USA, CNN announced they had photos exposing Miss Fakih as a champion pole dancer. But a little digging would expose (no pun) the truth of the matter. Miss Fahih was involved in a "Stripper 101" course sponsored by a local radio station called Mojo in the Morning. The course teaches women a few moves to use to spice up their home life. The pole dancing is apparently done with their clothing on.

Those silly pro-lifers!!

An Oakwood Elementary School's principal, Sheila Tillett Holas, was placed on administrative leave Friday as school officials investigate why life like, 4-inch long fetus dolls were given to dozens of third, fourth, and fifth grade students.

According to pilotonline.com, this elementary school is in Norfolk, Virginia. The unidentified staffer has also been suspended until the investigation is completed. One mother told the Pilot Newspaper that her fourth-grade daughter received the doll about a month ago. While the story doesn't say, what do ya bet the dolls were given out exclusively to the female students??

The principal was already in hot water with the local ACLU for instructing her teachers to hold hands and pray with students before they took state standards tests. The principal also hosts a prayer time and Bible study on the campus before school starts and highly encourages her employees to attend.
