I read yesterday that Eden Foods is launching a suit against the Affordable Care Act and it's birth control edict along the same lines as Hobby Lobby did.  The owner is a  staunch Catholic and is against all birth control, whereas Hobby Lobby was against birth control that they thought aborted the egg after conception.  The Supreme Court has really opened up a can of worms and who knows where it will lead us.

That would be me.  Frozen in place.  As many of you know, I don't do roller coasters. Josh and Corey are big roller coaster fans, and I understand my grandson Ethan is loves a good roller coaster.  Is "Its a Small World" considered a roller coaster??

Tyler was absent from school for a week. This is how he was welcomed back on his first day of school.

Racism in not inbred, but learned.
“Democracy” is now a rhetorical device. Peace is “perpetual war”. “Global” is imperial. The once hopeful concept of “reform” now means regression, even destruction. “Austerity” is the imposition of extreme capitalism on the poor and the gift of socialism for the rich: an ingenious system under which the majority service the debts of the few.”…

The next time you think you have it bad at work, think of the workers at WaterSaver faucet company. Workers there are required to swipe their ID cards when they use the restroom and the time they spend in the restroom is monitored by the company.  Workers have been disciplined for going over their allotted 30 minutes a week or 6 minutes a day.

The union contract currently allows for a 7.5-hour workday, including a 10-minute break in the morning, a 30-minute lunch break, a 15-minute afternoon break and a 5-minute cleanup period before the shift ends, according to Steven Kersten, owner and president of WaterSaver Faucet Co.

“Our point of view is that anyone can go to the washroom when they need to but what bothers us is extended periods of time and multiple trips that cause lost productivity,” he said.
The company lost 120 hours of productivity in May due to unscheduled bathroom breaks, Kersten added.

Fifty years ago yesterday (Sunday) The Beatles "A Hard Day's Night" movie came out.  Fifty years ago!!  I remember seeing it at the Fox Theater in Pomona.

A 4th of July parade in Norfolk, Nebraska, had a float that had an effigy of President Obama in overalls nailed to an outhouse that had "Obama Presidential Library" on one side.  The judges even gave it an "honorable mention".  How sad
