American self help author and motivational speaker Wayne Dyer died yesterday at the age of 75.  I have read several of his books and heard him speak in person a couple of years ago.

Saw the movie "Mission Impossible - Rogue Nation" Tuesday evening in the theater in the Casino on Catalina Island.  Good Movie. Lots of action.

That's quite a comment coming from the Pope!!

Karen and I had a good time in Catalina this week.We mostly ate, took naps, and slept in.  We took a 3.5 hour inland tour on Wednesday and saw some great views and a few bison.

Any excuse!!

Happy Birthday wishes go out to singer, actress, song writer, business woman, Madonna Louise Ciccone, aka "Madonna" who turned 57 years young yesterday. 

Madonna has been married twice and has four children.

Madonna is familiar in the pop music world, but she also an actress and writer of children's books. 

Saturday evening Karen and I went to a Rancho Cucamonga Quakes baseball game.  We won 9-4.  Newcomer Kyle Garlick went 3 for 3 with a homerun to lead the way.
