The Gate to the Future

As another year comes to an end,

each of us stands before the gate to

an unknown future.  A future that will,

without a doubt,

contain “life” in its many and various

manifestations.

That gate, as you might expect, can be

a treacherous gauntlet, leading to a

minefield of explosive experiences that,

without hesitation,

impact your life and the life of those

near and dear to you.

The key, of course, is to step boldly

through the gate, and then skip and run,

without reservation,

into the future, not allowing fear or

timidity to hamstring your adventure.

So stride confidently through that

gate to the future and face whatever

life may have in store for you;

without a doubt,

without hesitation,

and without reservation,

secure in the knowledge that

you can handle anything that

“life” may send your way.

Amelia and Jonah

Karen and I went to see "Star Wars The Force Awakens" Monday morning.  It was very good, a lot like the first Star Wars movie many moons ago. 

This reminds me of the days when we would catch a flight at the Ontario Airport.  We would stand at the gate outside, walk out onto the tarmac up the stairs into the plane.
