Diversity
Rebeca Arellano and Haileigh Adams were crowned homecoming king and queen at Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, Ca. The two girls said they were thankful for the abundance of support they've receive from family, friends, and students and staff at their school.
As a side note, sadly, the high school and school district have received "hateful phone calls and email," some described as disturbing. San Diego Schools superintendent Bill Kowba said adults criticizing the selection of the couple are "demonstrating such a lack of tolerance and are presenting such a negative role model for their children with their hateful comments."
I say congratulations ladies!!!
