Sadly, Richard Dawson passed away yesterday, June 2nd. from esophageal cancer. He was 79 years old. He is survived by his wife Gretchen  Johnson, three children and five grand children.

Most remember Dawson for his many years as host of "Family Feud",  But I remember watching him with my dad on "Hogans Heroes" as Cpl. Peter Newkirk.
