It would seem to me that the NRA is doing it's best to make people think that the government is going to take away every one's guns.  If you read President Obama's suggestions, there was very little about limiting gun ownership.  So you have to wonder if perhaps the NRA is in cahoots with gun stores in scaring these people so that they will run out and buy up all the ammo and guns they can get their hands on.
