So I have been a bit tardy with my blogging this weekend. It has been a busy last couple of days. I did manage to get in a couple of bike rides before the weekend. The weather has been rather cool recently with highs in the mid 80's and a nice breeze to ride in.  I was able to get in two bike rides last week, Wednesday in Riverside and Friday at Puddingstone Lake.
 

 

The photo above is the turn around point for my rides in Riverside/Norco.  We're looking east back towards Riverside.  It is 12.5 miles back to Fairmont Park in Riverside from here.  The park is just to the left of tht small mountain you can see in the background. Someday the trail will continue from here west along the Santa Ana River and hook up with the trail that starts at Greenriver Rd. off of the 91 freeway.  When this is done, who knows when, the bike trail will run from San Bernardino at Waterman and Hospitality Rd. to the ocean.

 

The photo above is of Puddingstone Lake across from the dam.  There were about a half dozen  seados on the lake that day.  I did two loops around the lake and two loops around the airport for a total of 21 miles.  Another nice day for a ride.
