Diana Taurasi (Don Lugo HS) lead the Phoenix Mercury to the WNBA Championship last night with an 87-82 win over the Chicago Sky. Diana hit the go-ahead jumper and ensuing free throw to put the Mercury ahead for good. Diana finished the game with 24 points and 5 assists to go with Candice Dupree's 24 points. The Mercury were playing without their all-star center Britney Griner who was out with an eye injury from game two of the series. Diana was voted the WNBA Finals MVP.
