Wednesday tRUMP announced that the United States recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.  While doing so, tRUMP said he was keeping a campaign promise that he made to his base,  the religious right.  Why is this important?  Many Christians believe that once the city of Jerusalem is entirely under the control of Israel, the temple mount can be rebuilt, which is the event that is supposed to trigger the "end times" and the rapture ect ect ect. This issue about control of Jerusalem has been a bargaining chip in the on-going peace talks  between Israel and Palestine for decades.  So tRUMP has basically put the kobash on future peace talks and this will most likely trigger riots throughout the world.  I'm sure with tRUMPS ego, he sees himself as some type of messiah himself and sees this move, which has been strongly criticized by most nation's leaders, as his part of the Christian mythology.  Or perhaps he doesn't have a clue what he has done.  Could go either way.
