Quarantine Road Trips

Plan your day of rushing around,

No detail can be too small.

Road trips during quarantine,

Take planning after all.

Choose a lofty destination,

Map out your every stop.

Don’t forget to allow some time,

For checking in on pop.

Lunch can be quite difficult,

There’s a line forming at the frig.

Grab an apple, perhaps some cheese,

You only need a smidge.

Afternoon traffic down the hall,

Could be your Waterloo.

A shortcut through the dining room,

Might help to see you through.

Don’t neglect your own backyard,

An oasis for the haggard drifter,

Sit a spell in a shady spot,

It could just be a spirit lifter.

Round the bath and heading home,

Like a horse heading for its stall.

A road trip during quarantine,

Was just the ticket after all.
