Former Los Angeles Laker star, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, was named as a cultural ambassador by Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton today.  Kareem will "promote the importance of education, social and racial tolerance, cultural understanding and using sports as a means of empowerment."
