A two-year (2008 - 2010) study by Washington State University in the St. Louis area provided free birth control to 9,000 women.  The study showed a dramatic drop in abortions and teen births.

Duh!!!

The national rate for abortions is 20 abortions per 1,000 women. The women in the study had 7.5 abortions per 1,000 women. The national rate for teen births was 34 per 1,000 women in 2010. The study group had 6.3 births per 1,000 teens.

The pro-life folks seem to want to end abortion and restrict a women's access to birth control.  It would seem to me that making birth control more available is the answer to cutting down the need for abortions.
