Happy Birthday wishes go out to Mary Marg Helgenberger who turns 53 years old today. Marg played "Catherine Willows" on CSI: Crime Scene Investigator.  Marg was in 263 episodes of CSI from it's inception in 2000 to 2012 where her character left Las Vegas for the FBI. 

Marg won an Emmy Award in 1990 for her role as "Karen Charlene 'K.C.' Koloski", a heroin addicted prostitute, in the series "China Beach."  Marg started her acting career in the daytime soap, "Ryan's Hope."

 

Marg has an B.S. degree in speech and drama from Northwestern University.  She is divorced from actor Alan Rosenberg and has an adult son, Hugh.  Marg is a big suporter of the fight against breast cancer, having lost her mother to the desease.
